200 Million Cane Toads and Counting

Cane toads poison native animals and pets, and they outcompete local species. A single toad can lay 30,000 eggs per clutch, so manual catching can only do so much.

We built ToadTurret to help reduce the impact on our own property, and now it's available for yours.

Real detection: AI identifies a cane toad with confidence scoring

How ToadTurret Works

From detection to response, here's what happens when a toad shows up

01

Detect

The camera runs an AI model trained on thousands of real cane toad images, picking them out from native frogs, pets, and other animals.

02

Target

A servo-controlled nozzle aims at the detected toad and delivers a spray. Only the target area is affected.

03

Report

Every detection is logged with a photo. You can review sightings, confidence scores, and activity from your phone or the web dashboard.

See What Happened Overnight

Wake up, open the app, and check what your ToadTurret got up to. Every detection is there with a photo and confidence score.
